Description 

This is one of at least 3 spans built in 1900 over the power canal. All were built by the New Castle Bridge Company of New Castle, Indiana. This bridge was dismantled and replaced with a new bridge, during which time a workman was killed. The last last remaining of these spans was the Fort Street Bridge, which was dismantled and stored to be reused in a park.
