Description
The covered bridge had its abutments and piers replaced in 1934. It underwent major repairs in 1958 and was bypassed in 1984. For information on the bypassed bridge see Meduxnekeag River Bridge, please see Bridgehunter #76057. Unfortunately the covered bridge was burned by some lunatic on July 19, 1921 and lost forever. It is still under investigation.
