LEGORE BRIDGE ROAD TO CLOSE FOR

REHABILITATION OF HISTORICAL BRIDGE

FREDERICK, MD The Frederick County Department of Highways and Transportation announced today that Legore Bridge Road will be closed at the bridge crossing the Monocacy River and at Legore Road starting on April 13th to allow contractor M.D. Miller Company to complete a historical bridge rehabilitation project.

Construction will last until approximately November 11, 2009, weather permitting.

Traffic using Legore Bridge Road will be detoured for the duration of the project onto Longs Mill Road, Creagerstown Road (MD Route 550) and Clyde Young Road. Department staff has notified emergency personnel and school agencies.
