Description 

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will replace the Parkersburg Road bridge (state Route 638) over the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. The project is scheduled to begin June 14, 2019.

The bridge, which is 30-foot long, will be replaced with a similar style bridge called a “Mabey Bridge.”

The new bridge will be in place and the road will reopen June 28, weather permitting.
