Description

Former NH Canal Line; originally built during a grade-crossing elimination project in 1892. The main through girder span was replaced sometime after 1941 with 1907 steel from another bridge. It was most recently used by the PVRR as part of an industrial spur up until the mid-1990s. Being a notorious destroyer of trucks, it was removed in 2010 and will be replaced with a trail bridge when the Columbia Greenway reaches this location.

Hello. I once read that this bridge was relocated. Placed on a bike path or rail trail. In some other state. Possibly ohio. But I cant find anything to confirm.
