Old Highway 8 Bridge

Map

Description

Bridge on the original alignment of State Route 19 / LA 8. Appears on 1936 topography map. The current bridge was built in the 1980s, so this bridge was presumably lost around the same time. Based on the design, it looks to be the same vintage as the old SR 14 / US 165 bridge upstream.
