Abandoned US 60 Bridge
Posted December 27, 2019, by Walter Laughlin (laughlin [dot] robert [at] gmail [dot] com)

This bridge replaced a covered bridge which collapsed, in I THINK, 1914; oddly enough on the very day it had been condemned by the fiscal court. Not unlike the Lair Station Bridge in Harrison County.

I have the newspaper clipping which announces the collapse and gives the exact date. I'll have to find it.
