Good question. I'm looking this. I can say the Tennessee river bridge was done by the Louisville Bridge and Iron Company with the masonry by R. G. Huston & Co. The Kentucky River Bridge was Baltimore Bridge Company. The Ohio River Bridge was done by Keystone Bridge, Baltimore Bridge, Edge Moor Iron Company and M. Flinnigan (Masonry work).

These were the major bridges. I will keep my eyes open for information on the smaller bridges, which are numerous.

Thanks Ed!

Did Morrison / Columbia Bridge Works build any of the bridges along the line or simply bid?

American Bridge Company built it. There is a book, "Report on the Progress of Work and Cost of Construction of the Cincinnati Southern Railway" by G. Bouscaren It even has the cost, $172,690.89.

Seeking additional info on this one. I know CBW bid on the superstructure, I'd like to confirm they built it.

Thanks,
