Floyd's Fork Bridge
Posted April 22, 2019, by Brian F Lockett (catbus420 [at] gmail [dot] com)

This bridge would've been a bit west (left) of where you have it on the map. It was where Routt Rd (KY-1531 and KY-2265) crossed Floyd's Fork. The "new" Taylorsville Lake Road (KY-155) bridge is about half-way between where Routt Road and Taylorsville Road used to cross the river.

These roads were realigned a bit in the early/mid-1980s to create an easier connection between Louisville and the recently formed Taylorsville Lake. The older route(s) were unimaginably curvy compared to the new route. Routt Road now crosses the river along with KY-155 at the newer bridge.
