Pam....those are actually footings that remain from an earlier bridge. Funny.....but in an odd way they are kinda like tombstones.........

I like this bright Blue that Ky is painting some of their spans....makes them stand out nicely!

I came across the bridge recently. It appears that there are head stones underneath the bridge. Could this be true? It's really neat to see this bridge.
