Thanks. I wish I'd found these before they were replaced, but the new bridges were a nice surprise. Kudos to Bourbon County.

It would appear that Bourbon County, Kentucky is building new through truss (and pony) metal spans. Although replacing a historic bridge still stinks, at least they are better than a UCEB. The through trusses even feature a nice looking plaque. Hopefully in 50 years these spans will be historic as well.
