Verdigris River Bridge

I attempted to find this bridge on 10 July 2010. The area is heavily overgrown with wild grapes - the Kansas equivalent of kudzu. My suspicion is that the bridge is lost, but a visit in the winter to confirm might be warranted.

KSHS has a page for this bridge which I had previously assumed was lost:

http://khri.kansasgis.org/index.cfm?tab=details&in=205-0000-...

I would be interested to know if anbody has seen cresting that matches the unique cresting on this bridge.

Google Earth clearly indicates that there is a bridge of some type at this location. I hope that it is the bridge documented by KHSH and not some low water crossing type structure.
