E 200th St Bridge
Posted May 3, 2015, by Kelly McClanahan

Interesting story about before the bridge was built. At the time I-35, at that time the Kansas Turnpike, dead ended at the road. Many people where not used to a high speed road, and often crashed into the farmer's field across the state line. A first he did not mind, even plowing his field to help. However, after several crashes, a wooden fence was build, but it also did not help. After much protest the highway was closed at the last exit.
