KDOT has proposed a preliminary engineering study to replace this bridge. Source: http://www.ksdot.org/TWorks/EcoDevo/downloads/Statewide_Project_List_Final.pdf

Construction is probably still several years in the future.

Kansas Dept. of Transportation is just now beginning rehab of this bridge. More or less going to be a patch and go project. All of the arches and all of the steal will stay, as well as the piers. Major redecking taking place though.
