Very similar bridge:
The portals are rather unique!
Glad to see photographs on here. This bridge, along with perhaps 2-3 others in southeast Kansas have a rather interesting perforated portal bracing. I have not seen an exact match anywhere else.
Old Frisco branch from Cherokee, KS through Parsons and beyond. Bridge is a seven-panel Pratt through truss with wood trestle approaches, can be seen from the HWY 400 bridge and sometimes from a paved county road west of the river, but not very well.
I have not actually seen this bridge, but looking at Terraserver and Google Earth it is apparent that there is a through truss bridge at this location.
According to the King Bridge Co. website, there is a 1905 King Bridge Co. Pratt through truss over the Neosho River in Labette, County. http://www.kingbridgeco.com/new_page_16.htm
I do not know if these are the same bridges or not.
