Peter Creek Bridge

Straight walk west from the corner of Linn and Broadway to the west in Valley Falls, maybe 100 yards from the street following what used to be an even longer stretch of Broadway....into the woods just a little bit following the well-worn path straight up to the huge mound that enters onto the bridge on the east side.... large trees have twisted and turned their way around the old iron beams of this classic forgotten Pony truss Bridge

The Kansas State Historical Society documented this bridge in the 1980s. No construction date is given, but I would estimate that it was built ca. 1910-1920. I doubt that it is much newer, or older, than that.
