Nathan,

Ah...no. I made a giant cardboard box to put them in and now have the worlds largest Erector Set! :^)

Seriously, certain bridges, especially stone arches, do speak to me in an abandoned state.

Regarding section loss and pack rust; as you know, for Carlton and Mead it was either take them or forever hold my peace. I still can't believe that either, let alone both, still exist!

If I just took the bowstring, I might have moved forward sooner but I doubt it. Work and health issues have overwhelmed my hobbies for the moment. I am hopeful, that will change in the coming year.

Carlton is still first in the queue.

Regards,

Art S.

Art: Does that mean the secret reason why you haven't restored your bridges yet is because you are a closeted lover of deteriorated trusses? You don't want to restore them because you secretly LOVE the section loss and pack rust :)

Robert,

Just buy a portable cement mixer and sneak around fixing your finds in the middle of the night :^) You can be a new superhero: The Pontist!!

Actually I kind of like the deteriorated look of this one.

Another bridge that is (for now) defying gravity.
