Hey Nick... You managed to find 2 Bedsteads that have been abandoned for SOOOOOO long that they still have the legs intact! Most remaining truss leg bridges have either had the legs amputated or buried in concrete!

Hi Nick:

This is a great find. Thanks for tracking it down. If the bridge is still county-owned, perhaps they might be willing to sell or perhaps donate it to someone who could repair it. This is a great little Bedstead, and there is no reason to let it collapse.

Brutal hike down lumpy, overgrown, abandoned X Rd. to find this one. Very interesting pony - and a great spot, but this one is REALLY falling to pieces. Rarely have thought that it may be BETTER to completely dismantle an old bridge but this one is all but gone.

NBI has not been here since 1990. The latest Google imagery appears to show a pony (Bedstead?) truss here. At least, I think I see a pony truss...
