Abandoned timber stringer bridge over Gypsum Creek on Railroad (abandoned in 2003)
Location
Whitewater, Harvey County, Kansas
Status
Structure is still standing with some of the ties in the middle portion of the bridge missing. Large log buildup on the north side could prove troublesome as more weight gets added on.
History
According to Google, the segment of rail between Newton, KS & Whitewater, KS became abandoned after the summer of 2003.
