The 2006 daily traffic count is probably for the new bridge. This bridge has been closed to traffic for many years.
Some of the dimensions reported for this bridge look incorrect to me. I measure the total length of the bridge as 251ft, rather than 126.9ft. If the term 'main span length' means the width of the two arches plus the width of the center pier, the length is 134.7ft, rather than 57.1ft.
I maintain a web page on the bridge and am involved in a restoration effort as well.

I am posting a variety of photos of the Clements Stone Arch Bridge in Chase County, Kansas. All photos in this series were taken in March of 2007. The bridge is located about 3/4 mile south of the town of Clements and is easily accessible from US 50. This photo is an overview of the bridge, taken from the southeast.
Webmaster's note: The photo that was here has been incorporated into the main site.
This bridge looks like it might be developing a bit of a foundation problem on the south arch. Now would be the time to fix it before the Cottonwood River undermines it further.
I have not visited this bridge for several years, so I am glad to see some current photos of it.
