Fascinating. It's an interesting railing design. Wonder if any other examples still exist.

And seeing that abandoned bit of Old US 52 in your link makes me want to go explore US 52 east of Indy now. I love abandoned roads/bridges.

I've never seen a railing with a triangle pattern before. Very cool.
