History
In 1967 construction of the Salamonie Reservoir necessitated removal. Large pontoons were fastened to each end of the bridge and it was floated to a new home near Dora Pike Road crossing Foster Pond.

When I was in grade school in Lagro we raised money to save the bridge. My name was on a plaque in side the bridge.

Brian, I only saw this bridge after it was relocated and before it was destroyed. I have seen some pictures from the side but don't remember any showing houses. I will keep looking around.

My grandmother lived in a little house right after crossing the Dora Covered Bridge. Does anyone have any photos of the bridge that may include the house?
