Description 

One of three covered bridges built in 1883 by the Kennedy family in Randolph County.

The exact location of this bridge is unknown, but it was near the current State Road 1 Parker truss bridge. The road was straightened out as the old bridge was on a bad alignment.

Thank you for sharing that Becky... I think you are absolutely right! I adjusted the pin to the East side of the current structure.

I don't think this location is correct. I believe the old covered bridge was to the east of the existing truss bridge, and not by much. There is concrete on both sides of the river just east of the iron bridge. If you look at the 1865 map, 900 west takes a sharp jog to the east over the river, hooking up with the slanted 825N. I think whatever bridge was there originally, was replaced with the covered bridge in the same spot.
