The old bridge was never replaced. The site is still accessable from the North although it is trecherous. The road to the South has been plowed over.

That's been added since I made an attempt to access it a few years prior to that. I got stopped by deep silt and had to retreat before I got stuck.

This might be technically accessible from the north. However, my February, 2016 visit found a fence, with a locked gate and signs that said Private Property and No Trespassing. It’s no man’s land beyond that gate. I would use strict caution.
