Update November 2010, center steel stringer aka girder has been replaced with a corrugated steel and wood section supported by a pair of iron I-beams installed on two of the remaining wooden supports. At least two of the supports were removed, either side of county road, that formerly held the old steel stringer. Width and vertical clearnance thus improved for roadway traffic, but not correct if and ever this line is reused for rail traffic again.

The replacement bridge is a prefabricated truss with a 4 inch concrete deck poured over corrugated metal deck forms. Plans for the replacement structure attached.

Next time call Bach Steel and get a real historic bridge instead of an ugly MOB

Plenty of historic pony trusses sitting around available that would have looked much better up there than an MOB!
