Description

This is a near twin to the Tioga Bridge in White & Carroll Counties. There is little doubt in my mind that Craven Smith was the designer, and WIBCo. would be the likely fabricator.

The current (Historic) concrete arch bridge was built in 1907 I believe as part of a city "Beautification" plan. It's a shame they didn't see this remarkable span as beautiful!

Humm- went away after only 17 years? It would be interesting to find out if it was moved somewhere else.
