Description 

Those Rall bascule bridges constructed over the Indiana Harbor Canal were 4 by the Lakeshore & Michigan Southern railroad and Pittsburg Fort Wayne & Chicago Railroad. This bridge was replaced with a Strauss bascule bridge in 1914 which is now abandoned in the raised position between two Scherzer railroad bridges and now abandoned 2 Rall railroad bridges.
