The HEAR photos were taken in 1996 before the restoration in 1997, so the railing looks like an exact copy of the original.

This was a beautiful rehabilitation - it looks brand new!

At least these changes appear to have been in-kind. I don't know what the original railings looked like, but the current ones do look like they belong there.

According to rehab plans the only thing original on the whole bridge is the arch ribs. Hangers, floorbeams, railing, etc have all been replaced.
