Corry, that's about what I was thinking. I knew I was about 12 or 13 when it was removed. Still have fond memories of it and wish it were still around somehow. I took those pics shortly before it was replaced.

I can narrow down the date it was taken down because I remember it happening. I used to live at the top of Mindenhall Hill and I remember it being taken down. It would have been some time after 1977.
