East Fork Whitewater River Bridge
Posted December 5, 2010, by Ed Hollowell (erhollowell [at] aol [dot] com)

This bridge replaced a temporary wooden bridge built after the 1913 flood. That flood destroyed a two span concrete arch bridge which had been in use for less than a year. Before the concrete bridge the river was bridged by an iron bridge. It is said that broken concrete from the 1913 bridge was visible in the river until the 1982 bridge was built.
