Description
A few miles outside of Monmouth a large deck girder steel bridge is being built over Cedar Creek. This bridge will be 615 ft. long between massive concrete abutments and will be supported in the center on steel supports resting on a concrete foundation set deep in the ground. The bridge will cost about $40,000. The track on this bridge will be laid 80 ft. above the water in Cedar Creek. -Electric Traction Weekly Vol. VI, January-December 1910
