DM&E Industrial Spur IL72 Bridge

I believe that this bridge was replace in the early 1980's (~83-85). I used to drive IL72 from Rockford to Sterling a fair amount. One day I came around the curve and saw that the bridge was removed. I thought that they were salvaging the rail line. However, a few days later I was going that way again and there was a new bridge there. I also saw a crew out cutting down trees that had grown up in the rail bed. (I stopped to ask the crew if I could take some of the wood for our fireplace and they said yes.)
