Description 

Location described as 2 miles North of and 1 mile East of Arthur over Lake Fork on the Garrett & Bourbon townships line.

In May 1960 the bridge was damaged by a dump truck overloaded with gravel. A decision was made to repair the bridge at a cost of $1200 as opposed to replacing it at an estimated cost of $50,000-$60,000. Farrier Construction Company of Mattoon was the sole bidder for the job of replacing girders and vertical beams.
