Lehman Bridge

The plaque in photo 6 mentions the president of the county commissioners as Anton J. Cermak. He later built the Democratic Party machine and was elected mayor of Chicago in 1931. He was later shot and killed in 1933 while talking with FDR in Miami. I hope they save the plaques for a museum.
