Description
Previous bridge carrying old alignment of Archer Avenue across Cal Sag Channel. All that remains today is the south abutment, and a number of power and telephone lines that formerly paralleled Archer Avenue which still cross here. Old Archer Avenue is open from the south as a hiking trail to the site. The community around it is named Sag Bridge, after the bridge, and the church to its north is named St. James at Sag Bridge.
Very few details are known about this bridge.
