This situation is a bit tricky. The original bridge was a swing bridge (no longer operable). The span between the north bank and the center pier collapsed under a train in 1963. The collapsed section was replaced by a set of short deck girder bridges while the remainder of the bridge between the center pier and the south bank was left in place. The surviving section was recently replaced by the existing truss bridge.
