Faye's Field Footbridge

Map

Description

A unique recycled flatcar bridge that retains it's Bettendorf trucks.

The city of Bettendorf, Iowa changed its name from Gilbert, Iowa to it's current name after William P. Bettendorf established a plant for his Bettendorf Axle Co. there. It was there where he designed the same Bettendorf railroad trucks the flatcar rode on.
