Description
Built as part of Des Moines' Southeast Connector Project, MLK Pkwy is meant as an alternate way to relieve traffic congestion in the downtown area. Located near Principal Park the 4-lane bridge pair was designed to be more than just functional. The bridge serves as a gateway to downtown and offers a great view of the city as one approaches.
