Kapaa Stream Swinging Bridge

Map

Street View

Description

Built along the lines of the more popular Hanapepe and Waimea Swinging Suspension Bridges on this same island. The bracing of the towers where a side span would typically be on this bridge mimics the better known previously mentioned pair. That, and all their decks appear alike. This Kapaa one is considerably more rougher around the edges; most likely as a result of not getting anywhere near the attention of the other swinging suspension footbridges as it is considerably more off the beaten path.
