Demolition of the I-10 Bridge in Pensacola, Florida Hurricane Ivan severely damaged 4 miles of the I-10 Bridge crossing the Escambia Bay on September 16th, 2004. While repairs were immediately performed to one bridge in order to allow travel across the bay, the original bridges were replaced. January 2008, Company Wrench Provided the machinery that completed the demolition of the bridges.

Several Gulf-coast bridges were severely damaged during the 2005 hurricane season. Hurricane Ivan's severe wave action and 15-foot storm surge knocked 58 spans off of the I-10 Bridge across Pensacola Bay and misaligned 66 others. Video posted by MyFDOT | |
