Description
This bridge is privately owned/maintained by the owners of the Banana River Marina but, carries part of South Banana River Drive, just north of Horti Point. It appears to be a single leaf, cable drawn bascule span to allow marine traffic into the slip area of the marina. From reports I read on other sites the water depth below the bridge is roughly 4.5'.
It does have a plaque at the top "C.L. Roy Jaren 1963". From some research it appears this is a Charles Le Roy Jaren, who, may have built or previously owned the marina. There is also a nearby road to the west of the marina named Jaren.
