Marais des Cygnes River

View Exhibit map

This category includes all bridges over the Marais des Cygnes River in Kansas and Missouri. There is a common mis-conception that this river changes names at the Kansas-Missouri border. This is not quite accurate. The name change occurs at the confluence with the Little Osage River in Missouri. From that point downstream it is known as the Osage River and is dammed to form both Truman Lake and Lake of the Ozarks.

The Osage River category can be found here http://bridgehunter.com/category/waterway/osage-river/
