L&N - Danville Lift Bridge (Benton County, Tennessee)
The original wooden bridge was built at this location in 1859. It was modified and rehabilitated in the 1870's then rebuilt in 1931 by the VIrginia Bridge Co. Ten years later in 1941 the bridge had to be raised due to the creation of Kentucky Lake.Abandoned through truss bridge over Tennessee River/Kentucky Lake on L&N RailroadDisassembled on Benton County side,the two spans on the Houston County side are used as a private residence
