Opened November 1927, replacing an earlier truss bridge. Made obsolete by a new highway bridge in 1986 and closed to vehicular traffic.

Howard Ford Bridge (Christian County, Missouri)
Built 1920-21 by the Pioneer Construction Co. of Kansas City; replaced 1990
Lost through truss over James River on Blue Springs Road (CR 143) northwest of Nixa in Springfield
Replaced by new concrete bridge

River Road Bridge (Greene County, Missouri)
Built 1922-23 by contractor M.E. Gillioz; bypassed by new bridges on US 60 in 1953 and US 65 in 1960
Preserved through truss bridge over James River on River Road (Old US 60/65) in Springfield
Open to pedestrians only as part of a city walking trail, but could still handle vehicular traffic

Turner Station Bridge (Greene County, Missouri)
Built ca. 1925; Bypassed by new bridge 1974
Through truss bridge over James River on FM 148 (Old Route D) east of Springfield
Only to pedestrians only, but could still handle two-lane vehicular traffic
