Davenport Iowa Raised Railroad

Built 1902 for the Rock Island Railroad to serve the new depot, the 3/4 mile raised railroad, built for as many as 4 tracks in places is a local landmark in Davenport. It extends from the western end of the Arsenal (Government) bridge to Western Avenue. It contains 10 bridges, including the Arsenal Bridge.
