Cross Bayou Bridge (Caddo Parish, Louisiana)
Originally built in 1890 over the Arkansas River in Oklahoma. Re-erected over Cross Bayou adjacent to downtown Shreveport in 1926. Used by KCS into the 1980's.Waddell "A" truss bridge over Cross Bayou on the Kansas City Southern Railroad in Shreveport, near Spring Street. One of only 2 surviving Waddell "A" truss bridges in the US, the Linn Creek Bridge in Missouri being the other.Abandoned

Waddell "A" Truss Bridge (Platte County, Missouri)
Built 1898 for the Quincy, Omaha and Kansas City Railway. Abandoned in 1939, but converted into a highway bridge on MO 4 in 1953. Dismantled in 1980 to make room for Smithville Reservoir, but relocated to English Landing Park in Parkville in 1987.Through truss bridge originally spanning Linn Branch Creek in Clinton County near Trimble, but relocated to English Landing Park in Parkville spanning Rush CreekOpen to pedestrians only
