In 1967 construction of the Salamonie Reservoir necessitated removal. Large pontoons were fastened to each end of the bridge and it was floated to a new home near Dora Pike Road crossing Foster Pond.

Nickel Plate Road Prairie Ditch bridge (Miami County, Indiana)
This wooden bridge carried the former IMC division of NKP Railroad from Peru to Michigan City and was the start of a large grade in Northern Miami County. Arsonist burned the bridge in the 1990's and it was quickly abandoned. Charred pieces remain.
