Existed 1926-1931 with an Eastern terminus at Lincoln Park in Chicago, Illinois and a Western terminus at Council Bluffs, Iowa.

After 1931, the Iowa portion became US 6, and the portion from Rock Island, Illinois to Chicago remained US 32 from 1932-1934.
