This bridge was on a road that dead ends now with limited road or rail traffic. Now an at-grade crossing with crossbucks.

Illinois River T&P Railroad Bridge (Peoria County, Illinois)
Built 1909, lift mechanism replaced in 1984

Keokuk Rail Bridge (Lee County, Iowa)
Built in 1917 replacing a multiple span iron through truss bridge built in 1871. Roadway deck replaced by current beam bridge in 1985, lower deck still serves rail traffic.

Open to rail traffic only. The upper deck on the Iowa side has been converted to an observation deck; the upper deck on the Illinois side is closed to traffic. Roadway traffic has been shifted to the 1985 beam span to the southwest of the bridge

Built for Double track, now single. One very busy bridge hosting trains coming from 3 different directions. Local Trail group is wanting to use unused second track bed for new connection to France Park and Panhandle Pathway trail to Winamac,

TP&W Railroad bridge over Paw Paw Creek at CR 50 South (Cass County, Indiana)
This was part of the Pennsylvania Railroads main line from Chicago to Columbus or Cincinnati, as well as their state line division to Effner to connect with the TP&W at the Illinois state line. Second track abandoned in early 1980's.

TP&W/Pennsylvania Railroad 18th Street Bridge Wabash River (Cass County, Indiana)
Once part of the Pennsylvania Railroad's Busy Columbus main line, as well as carrying Richmond Branch trains, this formerly double tracked bridge replaced an earlier single track through truss bridge that was East of current bridge.
