Built 1869-1874 under the direction of engineer James Buchanan Eads; automobile deck closed 1989 - 2003 for rehabilitation and replacement; reopened July 4, 2003

Top deck open to four lanes of traffic with a pedestrian lane, bottom deck open to two tracks of MetroLink light rail service

Euclid Avenue Bridge (St. Louis, Missouri)
Built 1951
Girder bridge over the MetroLink on Euclid Avenue in St. Louis
Closed to vehicles. Now open to pedestrians only as part of a recent make-over to Euclid Avenue. It is now part of a pedestrian plaza between Barnes Hospital Drive and Forest Park Parkway.

Built in 1959, replacing the Grand Avenue Suspension Bridge as part of an "urban renewal project"; demolished March 14th, 2011; replacement UCEB opened to traffic July 13th, 2012.

Spruce Street Bridge (St. Louis, Missouri)
Built in 1874 along with the Eads Bridge; partially rebuilt in 1935; demolished early in 2016. Replacement bridge opened to traffic April 10th, 2016.

St. Louis Freight Tunnel (St. Louis, Missouri)
Built in 1875 along with the completion of Eads Bridge as a route to Union Station. Later used as a freight route as passenger trains bypassed the tunnel for Merchants and MacArthur Bridges.
